The Eighties Saw A Hard Working Diligent & Sincere Entrepreneur Mr.Vadivel Start A Smal Fabrication Unit, In The Name & Style Of “Hydro India Water Conditioners”, Predominantly Catering To The Field Of Water Treatment.Vessels Like Water Softners & Filters Were Supplied In The 80s.To Various Industries Including Kerala Water Authority. His Son Gnanaprakash Joined Him At The Tender Age Of 23 Years And Was Tutored The Nuances Of Al Fields Of Business.

After His Father Gnana Prakasam Floated A Proprietorship Company, Hydro India In 1996 & Ever Since Successfuly Manufactured,Erected & Commissioned Innumerous Systems To Industries Like Ongc, Diaries,Textile Industries & So On.

2000s Marked Growth Of The Company Into Reverse Osmosis ( R.O. ) With Capacities Ranging From 250 Lph To 20,000 Lph ( 20 M3/Hr ) Upgraded To 50 M3/Hr. From 2005-06 Foreyed Into Packaged Drinking Water Plants Manufacturing & Commissioning To Industries & Private Individuals. Also A Company Owned Nodal Plant Was First Established At Vadaperumbakkam, Chennai. With Over 450+ Plants Supplied In Tamilnadu & 350 To 400 Plants In Other States.

The Year 2017 Marked The Entry Into A Niche Product Range Of Design, Manufacturing, Erection & Commissioning Of Effluent Treatment Plants ( Etp ) & Sewage Treatment Plants ( Stp ) And Corressponding Chemical Treating Systems To Go With It. Also Developed Expertise In Swimming Pools Erection & Commissioning For Both Domestic & Industrial Use. Annual Maintenance Programme For Al The Above Is Undertaken As Well.

The Legacy of Our Founder

Hydro India began in the eighties under the leadership of a hardworking, diligent, and sincere entrepreneur, Mr. Vadivel, who started a small fabrication unit in the name and style of “Hydro India Water Conditioners.” The company focused predominantly on the field of water treatment, supplying water softeners and filters to various industries, including the Kerala Water Authority.

His son, Gnana Prakasam, joined him at the age of 23 and was trained in all aspects of the business. After gaining experience under his father’s guidance, he established a proprietorship company, Hydro India, in 1996. Since then, the company has successfully manufactured, erected, and commissioned numerous systems for industries such as ONGC, dairies, and textile units.
